Track A — x402 Payment

For AI agents or wallets. Purchases are executed by calling the API: the endpoint responds with a 402 Payment Required challenge, your agent or wallet signs it, and content is delivered after settlement in USDC on Base.

1. Discover — call the GET metadata endpoint (free) or read this product's endpoint from the catalog.
2. Trigger the challenge — send the request without payment. The server replies 402 Payment Required with a base64-encoded x402 v2 challenge in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED response header.
3. Sign & settle — your wallet (or the agent's signer) signs the challenge and broadcasts the USDC transfer on Base.
4. Retry with proof — resend the request with the signed payload in the X-Payment header. The server verifies the payment and returns the content.

Human Wallets

People can use x402 too. The 402 challenge includes the recipient wallet, amount, and a payment link. Open it in any Base-compatible wallet (e.g. Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask with Base network) to sign and settle.
